COLAGRECO : one Michelin star for an inspired Argentin

Mauro COLAGRECOBorned in Argentina in an Italian family, Maura Colagreco, early decided to choose the culinary arts as his expression field. Before starting his studies, he traveled through Latin America and began his classes in the great restaurants and hotels oversea.

In 2001, he decided to come to France where, after obtained his diplomas, he started his long culinary experiences into the greatest houses of France. Thus, in 2002, he is engaged by Bernard Loiseau, as a demi-chef de partie for one year. In 2003, he's going to Paris where he will become Alain Passard sous-chef, in L'Arpège, before joining Alain Ducasse at the Plaza Athénée and finishing his culinary trip aside Guy Martin au Grand Véfour.

In Spring 2006, Mauro get his chance and creates his own restaurant, le Mirazur in Menton. Success downs on him immediately when the culinary guide Gault Millau creates a category, for him, writing down on its pages: "Create a new category seemed obvious after culinary experiences into Mauro Colagreco restaurant. A revelation it is! The essence of his work is to reveal the truth of a flavor, in what is simple and nude." 4 months after, it is the first star from the Guide Rouge Michelin which is coming, getting him the gifts to proceed to a long and successful career.
